Clover, this beautiful Australian Shepherd, has musculoskeletal issues since young age (which is very common on large breed dogs), mainly osteoarthritis in her hips and knees. She tore her both cruciate knee ligaments and had to go under several surgeries because of that. Even though she is an incredibly strong dog with a very high pain threshold.

Clover displays an important grade of lameness and suffers from chronic pain. Unfortunately, during our treatment we came across this aggressive sarcoma growing on one of her legs (surgery is not possible) and metastasising on her lungs. She started on chemotherapy and from this moment onwards the acupuncture treatment reached its higher point of many benefits. Adorable Clover has being surprising us all with her amazing response every time she comes for a treatment. Managing her pain, appetite, digestive side effects of chemo, and level of energy, she seems to cope much better with difficult time of her (and owners’) life. And that’s what we always aim for – a decent, happy, still enjoyable life even though when our beloved pets go under very hard and terrible situations.

Flavia has been so incredible to our beautiful dog Clover who has aggressive cancer. The difference in Clover’s mobility and happiness after each visit with Flavia is really apparent, and we feel very lucky that someone of Flavia’s vast experience and competency is looking after her (and us) through this tricky time. 
 
Flavia has a unique skill and deep understanding of animals, and her big heart and positive attitude make the whole experience so much better. At home, we call her ‘Magical Flavia’ because she seems to sprinkle her magic on our beautiful Clover.
